Written Mental Dialogues are a visualization therapy like no other that allow clients to work through interpersonal trauma, resolve traumatic mind mapping, and improve their overall brain state. These dialogues give the therapist new modes of accessing client’s mental maps of the important people in their lives as well as traumatic events that they have difficulty processing. Written mental dialogues enhance the therapist’s ability to identify gaps in the client’s autobiographical memory, highlight underlying beliefs and dynamics that are embedded in the right brain, and identify false narratives that keep them stuck.

Some key areas of focus in this training include:

  • Overall uses and benefits of written mental dialogues

  • Ways to introduce dialogues to clients

  • Utilizing mind mapping in written mental dialogues

  • Refining your feedback as the therapist

  • Addressing client resistance to written mental dialogues

  • Practice with real client dialogues
